For job seekers

• FirstRole is free. We will never ask you to pay to apply for a job, and no employer on FirstRole is allowed to.
• We screen jobs for signs of scams, but we can't guarantee every listing. Always apply through the employer's official page, never pay a fee, and never share your bank details or BVN before you have a written offer.
• Cover letters and tips are written by AI from what you tell us. Check them and correct anything that isn't true before you send them. You are responsible for what you submit.
• Jobs come from employers and other job sites. Each listing links to its source, and the hiring decision is always the employer's.

For employers

• Posting is free. Jobs must be real, open and suitable for entry-level candidates.
• You may not ask candidates for any payment, deposit or purchase. Posts that do are removed and the employer is blocked.
• We can edit, decline or remove any post.

Using the site

• Don't misuse FirstRole: no fake reports, scraping, or attempts to break our systems.
• We may change or pause features at any time, and we'll update these terms when we do.
